Itinerary:A kaleidoscopic view of Thailand that will provide some great memories and have your kids impressing their school friends with tales of riding through the jungle by elephant, exploring beautiful caves and playing on palm-fringed tropical beaches. After two nights in Bangkok, you travel east for three days of rest and relaxation on the island of Koh Samet. Then, with batteries recharged, you head north to Chiang Mai. From here you make your way to the small settlement of Soppong where you’ll have time to relax or explore nearby caves and tropical forest. There are also opportunities to go elephant trekking or walk to small tribal villages (with the option of staying overnight in a rustic village house). Returning to Chiang Mai for two nights, you can take in the city’s glittering temples and bustling markets. Other costs: International airfare not included.
