Discover the majestic beauty of the Annapurna

This accessible Annapurna trek showcases the cultural and physical diversity of the most beautiful corner of Nepal. The lodge-based trek takes in terraced hillsides, picturesque villages and rhododendron forests, all with the constant backdrop of the magnificent Himalaya. Views of the ‘fishtail’ peak Machhapuchhare and Annapurna South dominate the skyline, as we trek via Shyauli Bazaar to Ghandruk. Later, we walk through magnificent rhododendron forest to Lhandruk and on to Dhampus.  A spectacular panorama of the Annapurna Range is enjoyed throughout this wonderful trek. We return to Pokhara to relax by beautiful Phewa Lake before flying back to Kathmandu.

Included:

• The services of an expert English-speaking local tour leader throughout the tour, and local guides at some sites.

• Return local flights from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

• 5-day trek with comfortable lodge accommodation, generally in twin-share rooms with beds with comfortable foam mattresses and pillows.

• Porterage on trek.

• Trek Pack while on trek valued at over US$500 – kitbag, high quality sleeping bag designed for sub-zero temperatures, inner sheet and high-altitude jacket.

• Sightseeing (and entrance fees where applicable) in Kathmandu including Bodhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath and the holy Bagmati River.

• Time to unwind beside Lake Phewa in Pokhara.

• Kathmandu airport arrival transfer and transfers on Day 3 and Day 9.

• Transfer by private bus to the starting point of the trek at Lumle and back to Pokhara at the end of the trek.

International flights, airport departure taxes, airport departure transfer, visas, insurance, meals not listed, any optional tours and activities during free time, camera fees, excess baggage charges, showers on trek (if available), tips or gratuities and items of a personal nature.
