Magic scenery, culture and cuisine make Morocco a top adventure travel treat
The essence of Morocco lies in its ancient cities, medieval bazaars and high mountain villages. Majestic deserts, resplendent fields and mud brick kasbahs add even further depth for the intrigued traveller, as does its fusion of French colonial style and Arab and Berber culture. From Casablanca we travel west to explore the imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes and Fes. Turning south we stop in a small town in the Atlas Mountains to enjoy some easy scenic walks, before reaching the edge of the Sahara where we ride camels at sunset and spend a night camped under the stars. Visit the celebrated Todra and Dades Gorges and greet Berber villagers while hiking the lovely M'Goun Valley. Explore kasbahs, fortified villages and the enchanting coastal town of Essaouira, before our trip ends in the magical city of Marrakech. A long pour of mint tea, anyone?
