Insurance Requirements for Adventure Center trips

Adventure Center makes every effort to give you the best travel experience possible, but there are events completely beyond your control that could alter your plans and expose you to considerable financial loss, particularly when traveling overseas. A medical expense or an emergency medical evacuation could cost tens of thousands of dollars and the loss of your personal effects could be a financial burden as well. If you should have to cancel an Adventure Center trip, you could lose 100% of the money you prepaid.

High Limit Medical and Evacuation Insurance is Mandatory

Our international trip operators require that trip participants have at least $75,000 of emergency medical evacuation insurance and at least $75,000 of medical expense insurance for every trip.This cover is available for purchase at rates starting from $5 per day. Clients must verify to Adventure Center that they are covered to these levels before travel documents are issued, and to verify this you must complete, sign, and return to us an Insurance Verification form. You will also need to provide proof of insurance to your tour leader at the start of your trip.
