Insurance requirements for Adventure Center trips

Cover yourself against flight delay, last minute trip cancellation and emergency hospital care that will cost thousands of dollars.
Insurance is required for all of our trips. Stay covered with a travel insurance package that protects you.
We are pleased to make available Travel Insurance Preferred - two plans that, when combined, offer you comprehensive travel insurance protection before and while you travel. The two options are::
- Gold Plan: This plan offers coverage on your prepaid travel arrangements BEFORE you travel, so between the day of your initial deposit to your departure date. It includes Trip Cancellation coverage with an optional "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit that can be added for a nominal additional cost.
- Silver Plan: This plan offers the coverage you want while you are travelling. It includes high limit Medical and Emergency Evacuation coverage; Trip Delay and Missed Connection benefits; Baggage Delay; Accidental Death benefit; and Emergency Assistance Services, all in one package.
Why Medical and Evacuation Coverage is Required
Our international trip operators require that trip participants have at least $100,000 of emergency medical evacuation insurance and at least $100,000 of medical expense insurance for every departure.A completed Insurance Verification Form must be returned to Adventure Center confirming that these high limits have been purchased before the travel documents are issued. You will also need to provide proof of insurance to your tour leader at the start of your trip.
