Pyrenees: The Gr10
8 days - from $
A classic walk through the wild French Pyrenees
This is a new version of our popular GR10 trip, based in gites and huts throughout the itinerary. The GR10 is the extraordinary Grande Randonnee route which runs from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, and this trip offers the chance to complete a rewarding stage of this great trek, with your bags transported from hut to hut. The strenuous route covers almost 200 km of the stunning central section, alternating between lush valleys with forests of beech and pine, to higher, wilder areas of open ridges, high cirques and deep blue glacial lakes. Highlights include 3 days of light backpacking with nights in remote mountain huts, time to explore the awesome Cirque de Gavarnie, the lakes of the Neouvielle National Park, and the spa town of Bagneres de Luchon.
