Aegean Family Cruise - Family Holiday
8 days - from $1110
Relax on a traditional caique Plentiful swimming Delicious food
The Aegean island of Evia remains refreshingly untouched despite being close to Athens, retaining its traditional Greek charm. Between exploring remote coves, sandy beaches, a spectacular fjord and exclusive private islands, there is always plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling or relaxing on deck. Throughout the trip we take various optional excursions into the surrounding countryside, walking to traditional old white-washed villages, as well as visiting the ancient ruins for which Greece is renowned.
Itinerary:
Day 1 Start Athens; ferry to Karystos, board our boat. 2 To Bouros bay for a swim off the boat. Back in Karystos; afternoon visit the Venetian castle of Castello Rosso in the mountains. 3 Cruise to Eretria; optional visit to Halkis, historic capital of the island. 4 To Porto Buffalo for swimming off the boat; on to Eretria. 5 Optional visit to Eretria's museum and ancient ruins.
