Climb giant sand dunes Wildlife in Etosha National Park Camp near the waterholes
Namibia is one of the most spectacular countries on the African continent. From the oldest desert with the highest sand dunes in the world to rich savanna grasslands, from shipwrecked beaches to sheltered lagoons, from Damara and Herero tribes to ancient rock paintings, Namibia has it all. If this isn't enough, it also has one of the best game reserves in Africa, the magnificent Etosha National Park. As well as an abundance of large mammals, such as giraffe, rhino, elephant and lion, this area boasts more than 630 bird species. It is fascinating to see how animal, plant and indeed human populations have adapted to survive in this arid yet stunning country.
