The Masai Mara and exotic Kenyan coast are undoubtedly two of East Africa's highlights. The Kenyan wildlife is outstanding, and we can enjoy abundant birdlife at Lake Elementaita; the lakeshore is only a short walk from our lodge. In the Masai Mara the game is usually bustling around our luxury camp on the edge of the Mara River, and we enjoy spectacular game drives starting from our camp. On the Kenyan coast we stay on Galu Beach, which boasts sandy white beaches and crystal clear waters, perfect for relaxing and snorkelling.

Itinerary:

Day 1 Start Nairobi; fly to Masai Mara. Afternoon game drive. 2-3 Two full days on safari in the Masai Mara. There is ample time for game drives and the chance to do a game walk, visit a Masai village or take a hot air balloon flight (all optional). 4 Long drive to Lake Elementaita. 5 Full day in Lake Nakuru Park with a picnic lunch. 6 To Nairobi; fly to Galu Beach for five nights. 7-10 Relax on the beach, go snorkelling/diving, take a day trip to the Kisite Marine Reserve (optional). 11 Depart Galu Beach, fly to Nairobi, end Nairobi.

Mode of travel: Flights via Nairobi with Kenyan Airways. Transport minibus and internal flights.
Group size: Min. 4, max. 12, plus leader and driver(s). Local guide only on Galu Beach.
Accommodation: 3 nights luxury bush camp, 2 nights lodge, 5 nights hotels.On the Kenyan coast we stay at a privately owned beach resort on Galu beach. This resort is perfect for relaxing, enjoying a meal at the restaurant, or simply watching the world go by. There is also a swimming pool and a dive centre on site.
Food: Full board on safari; breakfasts only included at Galu beach.
