Explore the jungles, mountains and coasts of this natural paradise
With its rich volcanic soil, the tropical climate of Costa Rica supports an eco-system of incredible biodiversity encompassing thick jungle, cloud forest, mangrove swamp, Pacific and Caribbean coastline and a handful of active volcanoes. The result is a destination with abundant wildlife; in the hilly interior sloths lay dormant, Howler monkeys swing amongst the canopy and flamboyant toucans screech and soar overhead. During the nesting season at Tortuguero National Park thousands of Green turtles arrive to lay their eggs on the beaches of the Caribbean coast - an unforgettable sight. Costa Rica's appeal lays in its sheer variety. Our journey takes us through national parks and reserves to see the very best of this ecological paradise.
