Peru is one of South America's most diverse countries, and on this trip we'll see the best of it, from colonial Lima to the majestic Pacific Coast, from the extraordinary Nazca Lines to the incredible Machu Picchu. We'll stay on Lake Titicaca and visit its islands before heading to Bolivia's capital La Paz. We overland across the Altiplano, visiting Potosi and spending 3 days in the bizarre landscape of the Uyuni Salt Flats. Crossing into Argentina we travel to Salta where we can have a go at rafting or other adventure sports. After a stay on an estancia where we'll be able to go riding with gauchos we'll travel to elegant Buenos Aires and the end of our trip across South America.

You’ll stay on Lake Titicaca and visit its islands before heading to Bolivia's capital La Paz; overland across the Altiplano, the world’s second highest plateau, visiting Potosi and spending 3 days in the bizarre landscape of the Uyuni Salt Flats before crossing into Argentina and to Salta where you can have a go at rafting or other adventure sports. You’ll also stay on an Anglo-Argentine estancia, learning the ways of the gauchos, or cowboys, who have run this ranch for centuries, before travelling to elegant Buenos Aires where this trip ends.

The costs for each are included, but you must tell us when you book, if you want to book the Classic Inca Trail. Kitty does not cover food while staying in hotels and hostels. Because of its nature, this itinerary may vary: occasionally road conditions are too adverse during the rainy season (Jan. & Feb.) to make the crossing from Uyuni to Argentina and we may have to change the route.
