Deep inside the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland sits the peaceful hamlet of Lappeasuando. From here all that lies ahead is a land characterised by deep forests, frozen lakes and the extraordinary Northern Lights. Our base is ideally located to explore this surrounding wilderness, with a week packed full of activities. With our guides we spend two days learning to drive the dogsleds, build an igloo, and break trails through fresh powder on snowshoes. The week then culminates with a memorable night in the magical Icehotel. Born fourteen years ago out of an igloo housing artworks, the crystal-clear ice of the nearby River Torne has since then provided a spectacularly unique design every year. A night here is the perfect end to a truly unforgettable week.

Day 1 Start Kiruna Airport; transfer to Lappis Lodge, Lappeasuando (approx 45 mins). 2 Day of igloo building and wilderness skills; possible ice-fishing; overnight in your igloo or lodge. 3 Dogsled training and expedition to Lappis Wilderness Camp. 4 Return to base on dogsleds via frozen lakes and pine forests. 5 Spend the day on traditional snowshoes in the area around Lappeasuando; overnight in lodge. 6 Free day for an optional snowmobile excursion; return to lodge; night in the Icehotel. 7 End Lappis Lodge. Transfer to Kiruna Airport.
