Every year, one of nature’s most spectacular events takes place in Eastern Africa - the annual migration. Experience this once in a lifetime trip and look on as thousands of wildebeest and zebra make their way North to the plains of the Masai Mara!

Itinerary:

Day 1: NAIROBI Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the Sarova Stanley Hotel or similar.

Day 2: NAIROBI to AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, which lies in the shadow of Africa’s most famous landmark - Mt Kilimanjaro. Enjoy lunch and then an afternoon game drive. Overnight at the Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 3: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK After an early rise and breakfast, spend the day game-driving through the park. For the ultimate views of the rolling savannah and Mt. Kilimanjaro, choose to do an easy climb up Observation Hill. Overnight at the Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 4: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK to NGORONGORO CRATER After breakfast we’ll continue to the Ngorongoro Crater – the ‘8th wonder of the world’ and teeming with wildlife. Our home for the evening sits on the rim of this magnificent crater. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

Days 5: NGORONGORO CRATER to SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, descend this vast crater for a half-day game drive. Later, we depart for the infamous Serengeti with a visit to Ol Duvai Gorge – the ‘Cradle of Mankind’. Overnight at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 6-7: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK Over the next two days, enjoy game-drives spotting the migration – up close and personal. Overnight at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 8: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK to MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE Today, depart after breakfast and drive to the Kenyan boarder where immigration formalities are cleared. From there, we proceed into the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch en-route. Overnight at the Masai Mara Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 9-11: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE Spend the next few days exploring the ‘greatest wildlife show on earth’ with exhilarating game drives. Overnight at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 12: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE to NAIROBI After breakfast, depart for Nairobi and arrive in time for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. Afterwards, check-in to your hotel with free time to explore Nairobi. Overnight at the Sarova Stanley Hotel or similar.

Day 13: DEPART NAIROBI Today, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
