The game parks during the months of April through June are fresh, green and most importantly have fewer vehicles and travelers. Rains are usually short in the late afternoon and are preceded by bright, sunny and fresh days. Finish the trip on the white sand beaches of Mombasa.

Itinerary:

Day 1: NAIROBI, KENYA Upon arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our representative and driven to your hotel. Meals: None Overnight: The Stanley   Day 2: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK After breakfast we drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous as the home to thousands of flamingos that give the lake its name as the "Pink Lake". This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, rhino and leopard. You will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive in the park. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar   Day 3: LAKE NAIVASHA After an early morning breakfast we drive to lake Naivasha with its commanding setting at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment. Lake Naivasha is also an important horticultural area of Kenya. This afternoon enjoy a boat ride on the lake. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar   Day 4: MASAI MARA After breakfast today we depart for the Masai Mara- perhaps the only region left in Kenya where you may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. The Masai is the Kenyan section of the Serengeti Plains and wildlife abounds. While on game drives you will often see young Masai tribesmen herding their cattle amongst the plains game. Search for the "big five" on an exciting afternoon game drive. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Mara Fig Tree Camp or similar   Days 5: MASAI MARA Spend the full day in the Masai Mara with exhilarating morning and afternoon game drives. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Mara Fig Tree Camp or similar   Day 6: MASAI MARA Spend another exciting day in the Masai Mara with exhilarating morning and afternoon game drives. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Mara Fig Tree Camp or similar   Day 7: MASAI MARA- NAIROBI- MOMBASA This morning we drive to Nairobi and have lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant before you are taken to the airport for your flight (not included) to Mombasa, Kenya's historical port. When you arrive you will be met and driven to your hotel on the South Coast- a vast, uninterrupted stretch of white sandy beach, lapped by fascinating opal lagoons. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Overnight: Southern Palms Beach Hotel or similar   Days 8 to 10: MOMBASA Spend your days in this paradise as you see fit- relax on the beach or take in one of the many optional activities on offer. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Overnight: Southern Palms Beach Hotel or similar   Day 11: DEPART MOMBASA   Following breakfast at the hotel you will be taken to the airport for your onward flight.
