A flying safari is a great way to maximise your time and avoid longer drive days while gaining insight into the landscapes of Kenya from the air.  We’ll travel to Kenya’s major parks with ample time to see wildlife.

Itinerary:

DAY 1 - NAIROBI Upon arrival in Nairobi you are met and transferred to your city hotel.   Overnight The Stanley Hotel.   Day 2 – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK After breakfast we transfer to Wilson airport for you scheduled flight to Amboseli. You are met on arrival by lodge staff. Amboseli is famous for its big game and its great scenic beauty - the landscape is dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. Game drive en route to your lodge for check-in. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Overnight Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar. (BLD)   DAY 3 – SAMBURU GAME RESERVE After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for a flight to Wilson airport and connecting to the Samburu Game Reserve in Northern Kenya. The patches of forest and doum palm dotting the landscape provide an ideal setting for primates, hippo and crocodile. Elephant families visit the river's shallows to immerse in the cool water. You’ll enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive on the reserve before returning for dinner. Overnight Samburu Serena Lodge or similar. (BLD)   DAY 4 - SAMBURU GAME RESERVE  You will have the full day to enjoy searching for wildlife in Samburu embarking on both a morning and afternoon game drive. Overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar. (BLD)   DAY 5 – MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK After breakfast you will transfer to the local airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara National Park. The Masai is the Kenyan section of the Serengeti Plains and wildlife abounds.  While on game drives, you will often notice young Maasai tribesmen herding their cattle amongst the plains game. There is plenty of game in the Mara. Afternoon game drive.  Overnight Mara Serena Lodge or similar. (BLD)   DAY 6 – MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK Spend the full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight Mara Serena Lodge or similar. (BLD)   DAY 7 - NAIROBI Today you have your last game drive of the safari in the early morning.  After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi and connection to the international airport for your onward flight.
