An active week in Morocco, exploring the country on mountain bikes, camels and on foot. This trip takes you to the desert, mountains, Berber villages and old kasbahs.

You head off in the direction of Agdz, where you'll pick up your mountain bike. From here you explore the beautiful Draa Valley and local villages while cycling along dirt roads.
Travelling to Merzouga, you meet your next mode of transport: camels. Riding over sand dunes, you make your way to the overnight camp of Bedouin-style tents.
You'll hike through a section of the spectacular Todra Gorge before moving on to Bou Trarar near Dades Gorge. This area is dotted with traditional villages and kasbahs, some of which you will have time to explore on foot.
On returning to Ouarzazate, you have time for a half day outing to the historic fortified village of Ait Benhaddou, which has served as a backdrop to many films.

There are no special skills or fitness requirements for this trip. The bike ride is about 30km along dirt roads. The camel rides to and from the camp are each about 2 hours, and the walking in Todra Gorge is for around 2.5 hours.
