Your holiday begins in Prague, a beautiful city with a wealth of sights to discover - Wenceslas Square, the Charles Bridge and a maze of medieval alleyways and courtyards. After a full dayâ™s exploration you'll catch the overnight sleeper train to Slovakia.

The Western Tatras hold some of the highest peaks and most spectacular scenery in the Carpathian range, and are home to chamois, marmots, lynx and deer. From your base in Zuberec youâ™ll set out on a different adventure each day.

You can enjoy hiking along mountain trails, cycling, rafting on the River Orava, trying your hand at traditional crafts and taking a carriage ride into the mountains. Youâ™ll also learn about the way of life in Slovakia over a meal with a local family.

There's time, too, to visit the imposing Oravsky Castle and Demanovska Cave, as well as following in the footsteps of Juraj Janosik - the Slovakian â˜Robin Hoodâ™. And if you'd like to relax, you can - by a mountain waterfall or in a thermal pool!

Day 1 Fly to Prague, transfer to hotel Day 2 Sightseeing in Prague then overnight train to Slovakia Day 3 Transfer to Zuberec; relaxing and swimming in thermal pools Day 4 Rafting on River Orava; horse & carriage ride; walking in Juraj Janosik country Day 5 Lakes & waterfalls walk Day 6 Visit to Oravice; swimming & river journey to Oravsky Castle Day 7 Cycling around Zuberec; visit open-air museum for local crafts & games Day 8 Meal with Slovak family; cave visit Day 9 Free for optional activities, transfer to station for overnight train to Prague Day 10 Fly home
