From the charming old city of Hanoi you travel to Halong Bay for an exciting overnight boat trip amongst towering limestone cliffs and hundreds of spectacular islands. A true fairytale setting.

This old port has a great atmosphere and provides a mix of interesting architecture, busy markets and tasty food. There's also ample opportunity to relax on the beach.

Of course the climax of your trip is a comprehensive visit to the atmospheric temples, giant carved faces and intricate towers of Angkor Wat - one of the world's greatest ancient wonders.
