An exciting trip discovering Moroccoâs
distinctive landscapes, magical
medinas and culture
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Fez & Marrakech
- Desert & Atlas Mountains
- Pirate hideout of Essaouira
Morocco has a rich and exciting history and you'll uncover some of it as you walk through the medina of Fez, explore the Jewish quarter and the Royal Palace and take a trip to the Roman ruins of Volubilis.
You mount camels to ride over the sand dunes of the Sahara. The overnight stop is in a fixed camp in Bedouin-style tents - an adventure for the whole family!
Warming up with a short walk in the famous Todra Gorge, you then have two days to discover the Atlas Mountains around Bou Trarar on foot.
The fortified village of Ait Benhaddou is a great picture spot. You might recognise its historic buildings from the big screen, as it is a popular movie backdrop. With its laid back atmosphere, Essaouira is the perfect place to unwind towards the end of a busy trip. Shop for souvenirs, enjoy fresh seafood, walk on the beach or watch the fishermen bring in their catch.
