Discover the Pyramids, where the enigmatic Sphinx watches over the city with an unblinking stare - a great start to a magical trip! Next, cross the Nile to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, whose treasures provide a glimpse of the fascinating history of this ancient land.
Youâll have time to explore the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, hidden amongst spectacular hills on the west bank. In the afternoon, travel by horse-drawn carriage to the immense temple of Karnak where an avenue of ram-headed sphinxes line the entrance.
You will explore the ancient tombs of the Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings where 63 Pharaohs were buried as part of their journey to the after-life and perhaps visit the burial site of the boy-king Tutankhamun (at additional charge).

Day 1 Fly to Cairo
Day 2 Cairo; visit Pyramids and Egyptian Museum; sleeper train to Luxor
Day 3 Arrive in Luxor, free time to explore
Day 4 Visit the Valley of the Kings
Day 5 Visit Karnak Temple by calesh
Day 6 Fly to Cairo; free for personal exploration, shopping or optional trips
