Discover the unique wildlife and serene beauty of Zambia and Botswana, and experience the splendour of Victoria Falls This superb two week safari takes us into some of the most undiscovered and prolific wildlife sanctuaries in all of Africa. We begin our journey with a visit to Victoria Falls (known as 'The Smoke That Thunders') before heading north to Zambia's premier game parks. We use flights throughout this safari adventure allowing us more time to enjoy the vast amount of wildlife in the different regions we explore. Spending six days in the National Parks of Kafue and South Luangwa ensures an incredible wealth of wildlife experiences. The parks are home to many species that are rarely seen in other parts of Africa, including the beautiful roan antelope and the majestic sable antelope. Their remote locations coupled with our use of intimate lodging ensures surprising and rewarding encounters. Botswana, a diverse country rich in culture and spectacular scenery, is home to the famous pristine natural wonderland of the Okavango Delta. Four nights in permanent camps situated in the heart of the game-rich Moremi Reserve and deep within the Delta, provide excellent bases for exploring the delta wetlands by 'mokoro' and the Khwai River region in open safari vehicles. Add to this Chobe National Park, with its immense elephant population and magnificent sunsets, and you have a truly classic Botswanan adventure!

Itinerary:

Day 1: (Sun) Arrive in Livingstone and transfer to hotel. Afternoon tour of magnificent Victoria Falls.2: Morning Flight to Lusaka and continue to remote Kafue National Park, home to a large variety of antelope species as well as lion and leopard. and leopardion and leopard. and leopard.3-4: Two full days exploring Kafue National Park. Overnight in an exclusive wilderness chalets, overlooking the majestic Kafue River.5: Travel to Lusaka and catch afternoon flight to Mfuwe in Luangwa Valley. Evening game drive in South Luangwa National Park.th Luangwa National Park.6-7: Two full days in search of animals in the prolific wildlife sanctuary of South Luangwa. Stay in an atmospheric lodge along the Luangwa River – home to huge pods of hippos and crocs.8: Morning flight to Livingstone where we spend the night. Afternoon sunset cruise.9: Cross the border into Botswana and travel to Chobe National Park - Famous for its abundant elephant population. Afternoon game drive.10: Full day exploring Chobe National Park with an early game drive and a sunset cruise that evening.11: Morning flight to our tented camp in Moremi Game Reserve, overlooking Chief’s Island. An afternoon mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) trip to explore the surrounding wetlands.12: Full day exploring the Moremi Reserve and Khwai River regions with a morning game walk and afternoon cruise.13: Morning scenic flight to our tented camp deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Afternoon game drive.14: Full day spent exploring the superb scenery of the Okavango wilderness by mokoro and on foot.15: Morning flight to Maun where tour ends on arrival at the airport (Sun).
