Itinerary:

Day 1 Arrive Lima Arrive in Lima at any time.
Day 2-4 Puno / Lake Titicaca (B,L,D) Fly to the town of Puno on the shores of spectacular Lake Titicaca. Take a boat trip to visit Taquile and Uros Islands before immersing yourself in Peruvian rural life with a homestay in a small village. Return to Puno on Day 4.
Day 5 Cuzco Enjoy spectacular views as you follow the path of the mythical Inca founders on this full day of travel from Puno to Cuzco through the high Altiplano region.
Day 6 Ollantaytambo Travel with our local guide through the Sacred Valley and visit the majestic Pisac archaeological site. Continue to the last living Inca town of Ollantaytambo before preparing for the hike ahead.
Day 7-10 Inca Trail (3B, 3L, 3D) Begin a once in a lifetime journey on the ancient trail of the Incas with a morning trip to km 82, where our hike starts. Local porters and guides ensure that the trip is worry-free, and fascinating ruins and spectacular mountain scenery fill every day of the hike. On the final day, climb the steps to Intipunku, the 'Sun Gate', to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu. Return to Cuzco by train in the afternoon.
Day 11 Cuzco Often considered the Mecca of Peru, Cuzco has a friendly, colonial atmosphere. The town offers nearby Inca sites, cobblestone streets, museums, markets and ornate churches. Rafting, horseback riding and mountain biking excursions are also possible options.
Day 12 Depart Cuzco
