Buddhas & Palaces
Our adventure begins in the bustling and dynamic capital Bangkok, where we visit the Grand Palace and glittering temples of the Emerald and Reclining Buddhas. The boats which ply the Chao Phraya River and the klongs (canals), secure a vantage point from which to observe an eclectic mix of old and new; soaring skyscrapers and ancient wats sit side by side.

Elephants & Jungle
Catching the overnight sleeper train south we continue to Khao Sok National Park, one of the oldest and most bio-diverse rainforests in SE Asia, where waterfalls tumble over soaring limestone cliffs and liana vines drape mysteriously from the canopy of ancient forest. We wake to the sounds of the jungle and explore by foot and on elephant back.

Turquoise Seas & White Sandy Beaches
A ferry takes us to offshore islands with their crystal-clear waters and white, sandy beaches backed by swaying palm trees. Against this idyllic backdrop we've the chance to try snorkelling. Back on dry land we explore the forested interior on foot for a different aspect. Or simply, lie-back and relax!
