Southern Africa is often overlooked, but the diversity in wildlife and scenery in its game parks is second to none. Visiting four game parks in three countries and finishing in stunning Victoria Falls, this trip features the very best of Southern Africa. We begin our journey in Kruger National Park, one of the largest game parks in Africa, offering a great variety of wildlife and excellent game viewing. Crossing into Zimbabwe, we visit both Matobo and Hwange National Parks. Matobo is home to both the Black and White Rhino, as well as the Black Eagle. We continue into Botswana, spending time in Chobe National Park, known for its large elephant population; the Chobe River front offers spectacular game viewing, both by boat and from the shore. We finish our journey in Victoria Falls, which has many optional activities including one of the world's highest bungy jumps, sunset cruises, high-adrenaline white-water rafting and, of course, time to spend by the spectacular waterfall.

Itinerary:

Day 1 Start Johannesburg; 5 hr drive to Hazy View where we camp for the night. 2 Full day game viewing in Kruger N.P. 3 Morning game drive; afternoon drive to Tshipise Hot Springs. 4 Long drive, crossing the border into Zimbabwe, to Masvingo; evening visit to Great Zimbabwe Ruins. 5-6 Camp two nights at Antelope Park; optional activities include game drives, horse riding, and canoeing. 7 Full day in Matobo N.P. 8 Morning free; afternoon drive to Hwange N.P. 9 Full day in Hwange N.P.; morning game drive, afternoon game walk. 10 Cross the border into Botswana; overnight Kasane. 11 Full day in Chobe N.P.; morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise. 12 Cross the border into Zimbabwe; overnight Victoria Falls 13 Full day at Victoria Falls. 14 End Victoria Falls.

Mode of travel: Participatory camping safari in specialist overland vehicle.
