Morocco Camel Trek

14 Days - from $3060

Trek the remote Moroccan Sahara with Michael Asher

A unique adventure led by the renowned desert explorer, Michael Asher, who was the first European to travel 4500 miles across the Sahara from west to east. As we travel through one of the most remote regions in Morocco, inhabited by tribes of Arab and Berber descent, we learn an incredible amount from a leader who has received awards for desert exploration. As the largest desert in the world, the Sahara boasts diverse scenery and we see it all on this trip - from rocky and mountainous Hammada de Gui to the spectacular sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Our incredible trek from Zagora to Merzouga is a real experience, as we travel without backup or technology of any kind, at the pace of the camel - a chance to savour the silence and peace that is only found in the desert.
